Presentation by JW Wilson at our 2015 Deming in Education conference: Why Some Things in Education Work….and Others Don’t:

In his presentation JW Wilson talked a great deal on impact of stress and extrinsic motivation on the biology of the brain.

The content of this video opened my eyes. But JW Wilson is not a good communicator. He delivers his message in short high-quality bursts that you could easily miss because they are surrounded by talking for the sake of talking. He stutters and at times he’s almost incoherent. His talk had very little structure and didn’t seem to be well planned. He would be ten or a hundred times more effective if he trained in public speaking.
